Lexico Verstehen 1 (D) 4.0

Lexico Verstehen 1 (D) is a tool designed for speech therapy with children as well as adults recovering from traumatic brain injury, who are experiencing language impairments. Its primary focus is on developing language comprehension, expanding vocabulary, enhancing memory capacity, and providing auditory training.

Throughout the exercises, users are required to identify correct responses to various questions, which include:

• Tasks aimed at vocabulary expansion and activation of word retrieval
• Exercises concerning causal relationships
• Activities to promote cognitive skills
• Six thematic areas: combining, comparing, verbs, characteristics, directions, and opposites
• A total of 360 exercises distributed across 30 different game formats

The application is suitable for multiple contexts:

• Speech therapy for children without reading skills
• Reading practice for elementary school beginners
• Language instruction for learners of German as a second language
• Independent practice for adults with language impairments to improve vocabulary and sentence construction

Lexico Verstehen 1 (D) was developed in collaboration with experienced professionals from the fields of speech therapy and education. The package includes the “E” level; additional levels can be unlocked through in-app purchases.
